Little is known about Boltze personally beyond the voice of his far-reaching dispatches. In the late 1970s, Boltze collaborated with the equally enigmatic Baswami Nutze to produce the underground international Nutze and Boltze Report, a non-partisan policy review of global affairs. The rag thrived through the '80s, enjoying a low-key notoriety for spot-on analysis and uncanny foresight, before closing up shop with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Boltze, whose real name remains unpublished on any known work, has recently started producing his fugitive reports in multimedia, dropping extras to publishers in video, audio or via the Internet. He writes irregularly for the Frozen Food Section.
